How do I make text bold on LinkedIn?
LinkedIn has no bold button in the post box, so bold text is made with special Unicode characters. Type your text in this tool, copy the bold version and paste it into your post. It looks bold everywhere LinkedIn is shown.
Does bold text on LinkedIn work on mobile?
Yes. The styled letters are standard Unicode characters, so they show on the LinkedIn app and on desktop. Very old devices may show empty boxes for some characters, which is rare.
Is formatted text bad for accessibility or search?
Screen readers can read styled Unicode letters one by one, and search may not match them as normal words. Use bold for a few key words or one headline line, not for whole paragraphs.
Why are my links and hashtags not bold?
On purpose. Styled letters would break a web address, a #hashtag or an @mention, so this tool leaves them as plain text.
